Here is my second pair of socks. This pair was my first adventure in two-color knitting. I have a lot of room for improvement with this technique. Not the most beautiful pair of socks I have ever seen – I don’t like the acrylic yarn but it was the only thing I could find in the colors that I needed. These socks were for Jerry who just underwent some major cancer surgery and these colors are the colors of his favorite sports team. The photo is especially bad because the camera’s flash reflected off the sheen in the acrylic yarn and caused weird things to happen with the color – it is supposed to be pumpkin orange and navy. They really do look better in person. But I told you a long time ago that I am not a photographer.
